Job roles in films, what do I want to be?
If I was to enter the media world one day and work their. Producing different types of movies thrillers, comedies, romances... I would like to be one of the actresses'.
First of all, an actor is basically a person who portrays a character in performance (in front of something, someone). The actors perform “in the flesh” as it can be in the theatre or in modern media like films, radios and television. An actor has to be able to interpret a role whether it is based on a real person or a fictional character.
Therefore, an actor's job is to fully represent the character they are playing and to convince their audience that character is real by engaging them and drawing them into the story. This applies to major roles and smaller parts, as all roles combine to create a successful production.
It may not seem important but jumping into theatre in high school is the path to acting careers, it can actually begin in high school plays and musicals. Also from a young age its important to get experience outside of school like auditioning for various roles in front of an audience. One of the main things that actors need is practice;- practice is the key to success. Aspiring actors need to act as much as possible, in as many roles as possible. Another thing that you have to do to become an actor is building up a resumé filled with a variety of performances, including theatre, productions, commercials, working as an extra, music videos and anything else that gets attention. You also have to get an agent. An experienced agent can help actors succeed by offering a huge network of contacts, help them avoid mistakes and lots of other things. And finally be persistent and not give up. Like for example an actress that succeeded through persistence would be Michael Caine.
Moreover, the money actors earn is pretty good.
Where actors happen to make the most money depends greatly upon their expertise, roles and geographical location. Areas where the performing arts are a prominent typically offer higher pay than rural areas, or those far away from production facilities. This tool can help aspiring actors research average earnings by location. For example Actors made a median salary of $40,860 in 2019. The best-paid 25 percent made $58,580 that year, while the lowest-paid 25 percent made $25,180.Some of the actors I like the best that act in thrillers are Leonardo DiCaprio, Matt Damon or Tom Hanks. Some thrillers were they appear is Cath me if you can or The departed.
